New World Fashion Leads the Way in Green Energy Transition

Recognizing the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development, New World Fashion continuously innovates and applies advanced technological solutions to optimize its production processes. One of the company’s top priorities is the use of clean energy to reduce its carbon footprint and enhance sustainability.

As part of its green development strategy, New World Fashion Group has made a significant investment in a solar energy project for its Nam&Co Yen Khanh factory. The project officially commenced on December 11, 2024, and is expected to be operational by February 19, 2025. The solar panel system covers an area of 2,119 m², ensuring optimal efficiency in energy generation.

According to estimates, the solar power system will generate approximately 42,000 kWh of electricity per month, totaling 511,000 kWh annually. This will account for around 20% of the factory’s total monthly electricity consumption, significantly reducing reliance on traditional power sources and lowering CO2 emissions to help protect the environment.

This project not only demonstrates New World Fashion’s strong commitment to sustainability but also represents a crucial step toward enhancing production efficiency and optimizing operational costs. The company’s leadership firmly believes that transitioning to green energy brings both economic benefits and a cleaner future for the fashion industry.

New World Fashion is committed to further investing in clean energy solutions, striving for sustainable development, and fulfilling its corporate social responsibility. This solid foundation enables the company to continue expanding while making a positive contribution to global environmental protection.
